July 2nd. MMW Gallery Grand Opening
featuring Susan Sanburg Humphrey

MMW is excited to announce the opening of our new MMW Gallery and expanded Gift Shop Saturday, July 2nd, 2022.

The event also begins a month-long celebration of our Farm & Ranch Heritage honoring our agricultural and western lifestyle. Throughout July, the new MMW Gallery will feature the work of Susan Sanburg Humphrey, local artist and photographer, our featured artist. Her family has been ranching here for 3 generations. Her paintings and digital photography reflect her love of the country, the lifestyle, and the wild mustangs, dear to her heart and the subject of much of her work. To see some of Humphrey’s work, visit her website.

The Museum, which ranks Number 1 on Trip Advisor for local attractions, offers Guided and Self-guided Tours Monday through Saturday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Visitors may also visit the Gallery and Gift Shop during those hours.

ARTISTS RECEPTION SATURDAY JULY 2nd, 6-8 PM.

To celebrate the opening of our new MMW Gallery and welcome Humphrey as our first featured artist along with other local artists and artisans. The Gallery Reception, held Saturday evening from 6-8 pm, included light apps, live music, a cash bar with craft beers, and wines from LaNoue Dubois Winery. Susan visited with guests all evening. Sales were brisk, and continued the next day—so much so that she had to restock to fill bare walls!
