Carol Harris-Fike, Board President, Volunteer

Carol Harris-Fike –

Carol has been volunteering at the museum since 2004. (She married the founder, Richard Fike in 2005). Her background in education as a teacher and school administrator supports the museum in planning and conducting tours for groups of students and adults. Carol is a leadership coach supporting clients from around the world which benefits planning for international visitors to the museum. Since childhood, she has been interested in history and antiques. For many years she had an antique business on the side of her public education work. Carol says she never felt completely comfortable with selling unique historical items as she wanted more people to view and learn from them. Since over 7000 people from around the world visit the museum each year, she has more than met this desire to share history.
