Description: Live Music. Gunfights. Movie re-enactments. Kids’ Games, Face Painting & Balloons, Docents will be stationed throughout the museum buildings and displays to answer questions and give demonstrations. Food and Drink booths, Cash Bar. Movie Poster Display. Kids Movie Poster Contest. Tintypes. Wagon Rides. Shopping.

This is a fundraiser celebrating the western movies that were filmed in and around SW Colorado. Our magnificent scenery coupled with the region’s colorful history was the basis for some classic films. Most were made when stories of cowboys and Indians were considered top entertainment, but westerns are still being filmed here, today.
