Description

This is a fundraiser celebrating the historic farm and ranch community that supplied the old towns of the Mountain West… and still do!  Ranching and farming are a big part of Colorado’s economy and social life. Come celebrate our heritage with us. Volunteer docents will be stationed at various displays to answer questions and show you how things worked and were used back in the old days–before big box stores and handy electric kitchen gadgets. See how coffee was ground, packages wrapped before plastic sacks, hair curled, beds warmed, food cooked, and clothes ironed before electricity.

Kids can visit the petting zoo, enjoy games and face-painting, and visit with E.T. Grown-ups can visit the music tent and dance to live music with their favorite bands, including Ghost River 2-5 pm, Saturday the 16th.
Plenty to eat and drink for all ages, including beer and wine for the grownups, snow-cones and ice-cream treats for the kids.
